City Center West Orange Unveils Plans for a Scenic 5K Linear Park in Ocoee, Florida

Exciting things are happening at City Center West Orange 🍊 in Ocoee! President David Townsend is thrilled to announce plans for a brand-new 5K linear park and walking trail — a vibrant addition designed to connect nature, recreation, and community living.
Stretching approximately 10 feet wide, the scenic trail will begin at the corner of Bluford Avenue and Maine Street, winding gracefully along the north border of the development. The route will guide walkers and joggers through a preserved nature area behind the 900 apartments on the north side of Maine Street, offering a peaceful escape surrounded by flowering plants and lush greenery.
Highlights of the trail will include an elevated boardwalk perfect for nature observation, comfortable benches for rest and reflection, and CCTV cameras to ensure safety for all. From the east corner of Maine Street, the trail will loop around the serene Lake Bennett, then return through City Center West Orange, where visitors can stop for refreshments before completing their journey back to Bluford and Maine.
The park will be easily accessible from any of the three public parking garages, all just a short stroll from the trail entrances. Whether you’re looking for a morning run, a peaceful walk, or a beautiful place to unwind, the City Center West Orange 5K Park is set to become Ocoee’s newest destination for outdoor living and community connection.
